I am 39 years old and found this group last summer, when I was researching information on how to improve my fertility. Joining the group was a big first step, but meeting Rachel took my journey to a whole new level.
After having 2 miscarriages in 2 years, I had been getting “desperate”, hanging onto every piece of “research” I found on the internet. I felt so overwhelmed with no direction. All I heard was that I was just too old.
I decided to join the Membership. Joining this gave me a goal, connected me with other women who were struggling, but most of all it kept me focused.
Rachel constantly checked in to see what I was struggling with and she was there to expertly review my fertility chart. I learned more about my cycles than I ever knew before! Why don’t they teach you this in school?!
With Rachel’s help, we determined that I needed to focus on regulating and increasing my temps, monitoring my diet, and raising my progesterone levels. The Membership gave me all the tools I needed to do that.
After 3 months, I had a positive pregnancy test. While I was nervous to face the same outcomes, I was assured that this time would be different, and it was. I’m now at 24 weeks.
I know we are all different, but I wanted to share what I did, in case it can help someone else:
1. Be kind and patient with yourself. I did not do everything at once. I found it too overwhelming. I incorporated 1 change about every 2-3 weeks. It probably would have taken me 6 months or more to get it all.
2. When Rachel says she will help you, she means it. Take her up on it. After I joined the Membership, she reached out consistently. At one point, she created a list of the best foods for me. It was 3 pages long. No more question about what to buy at the grocery-I had a map.
3. While in the Membership, take the classes, join the calls, take action. I saw immediate improvement, but I also felt great b/c I was taking action.
4. Encouragement is as important as anything. We all feel as if we’re alone. You’re not-meeting and listening to other members weekly reinforces that.
I don’t know where I would be without the Membership group and Rachel – probably still scouring the internet feeling confused and roaming without direction.
